House Movers in Houston, TX

Studios to estates. All of the Houston Metro. We scope it, staff it, and get it done.

The Scale

You Live in a 3,500-Square-Foot House. You Think You Know How Much Stuff You Have. You Don't.

There's the furniture you see every day — the living room set, the beds, the dining table. Then there's everything else. The garage with fifteen years of accumulated tools, holiday decorations, and that treadmill you haven't touched since 2021. The attic with boxes you forgot existed. The guest room closet packed floor to ceiling. The media room your kids filled with gear. The kitchen drawers you haven't opened since you moved in. A house move is always bigger than it looks.

We've been moving Houston homes since 2009. We know what a four-bedroom in Katy looks like at 7 AM on move day — and we know exactly what it takes to get it done right. We scope the job honestly, bring the right crew size, and protect every surface from the front door to the truck bed. No surprises, no shortcuts.

House Moving

Scope of Service

What's Included in Your House Move

Small house moves — 2 to 3 bedrooms

Starter homes, townhomes, and smaller single-family residences. A two to three mover crew handles these efficiently.

Large house moves — 4+ bedrooms

Full-size family homes with multiple living areas, packed garages, and years of accumulated belongings. We bring a bigger crew and plan for a full day.

Heavy and oversized items

Gun safes, pool tables, treadmills, marble-top dressers, solid wood armoires. We have the equipment and the technique to move them without damaging your floors or walls.

Garage, attic, and storage rooms

The stuff you forgot about is still stuff that needs to move. We clear out garages, attics, sheds, and every closet you haven't opened in years.

Furniture disassembly and reassembly

Bed frames, entertainment centers, sectionals, desks, shelving units — we break them down at the old house and put them back together at the new one. Hardware stays bagged and labeled.

Multi-stop moves

Picking up from one location and delivering to two? Moving items from storage into the new house on the same trip? We coordinate multi-stop logistics so everything ends up where it belongs.

House Moving Pricing

House moves are quoted hourly based on crew size, estimated time, and distance between locations. A typical three-bedroom house in Houston runs 4-6 hours with a two or three-mover crew. Larger homes with packed garages, multiple floors, or oversized furniture may need a four-mover crew and a full day.

We'll give you an honest estimate based on your home size, inventory, and any special items. No hidden fees, no fuel surcharges, no surprise line items on the invoice. The pricing page breaks down exactly how we calculate every job.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How many movers do I need for a 3-bedroom house?

A standard three-bedroom house typically needs a two or three-mover crew. If you have a packed garage, heavy furniture, multiple floors, or tight stairways, we may recommend a three or four-mover crew to keep the job on schedule. We'll assess your specific situation when you request your estimate.

How long does it take to move a 4-bedroom house?

A four-bedroom house move in Houston typically takes 5-8 hours depending on the volume of belongings, number of stairs, distance between homes, and whether packing is included. Homes with packed garages, attics, or oversized items tend to run on the longer end. We factor all of this into your estimate.

Do you disassemble and reassemble furniture?

Yes. We break down bed frames, desks, entertainment centers, dining tables, bookshelves, and most other furniture that needs disassembly to move safely. We reassemble everything at your new home. All hardware is bagged and labeled so nothing gets lost.

What if something gets damaged during the move?

We're licensed, insured, and BBB A+ rated. Every move includes basic valuation coverage. We wrap and protect every piece of furniture before it goes on the truck, and we use floor runners and door frame protectors at both locations. If something does happen, we handle it — that's what the insurance is for.

Should I pack my own boxes or have you do it?

Either works. If you want to save on cost, pack non-fragile items yourself — clothes, books, linens, non-breakable items. Leave the kitchen, glassware, artwork, and electronics to us. We offer full-service and partial packing options that can be combined with your move.
